Philips TDA1541 / TDA1541A S2 - test report

This beautiful DAC has been modified by Sander Sassen (see his comments on the Dutch forum zelfbouwaudio.nl). The standard TDA1541A has been replaced for the TDA1541A S2.
It sounds great, very open and detailed.

1 - Power supply unit for the digital section
2 - Two separate transformers: one for the digital section and one for the digital / analog converter
3 - Transformator for the analog section
4 - 1x 16bit tda1541 s2 digital / analog converter
5 - 2 high capacity ELNA capacitors
6 - 2 symmetrical XLR outputs for Studio purpose
